- Pre University
Are you a K-12 student interested in learning more about the wonderful world of entrepreneurship?
Here are some of the pre-university programs the Chang Institute supports:
PowerPlay (Grades 4 – 8)
PowerPlay students develop a product and business plan, conduct market research, complete marketing and branding exercises, and launch their products for sale at a final showcase. This Canada-wide educational movement is empowering young people with the skills and entrepreneurial thinking needed to help them succeed in our rapidly changing world.
Past Programs – YELL (High Schoolers)
From x year to 2021, the Chang Institute for Entrepreneurship the Beedie School of Business, were supporters of YELL, making SFU the first university in Canada to give university credit for a high school entrepreneurship course!
The Chang Institute will honour YELL credits from students entering SFU from x to 2022, which can be claimed by students in any faculty, either toward three credits their degree in the SFU Beedie School of Business or toward the interdisciplinary Charles Chang Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
