When I started going to i2i, I realized I had been an entrepreneur my whole life, basically operated my whole life that way. Now I consider myself to be more of a changemaker since what we are doing is quite revolutionary in a way that we are telling people “hey you need to look at these things, care for people, etc."
Part of an initial cohort of science-entrepreneurs to receiv the 'Invention to Innovation' graduate certificate from the Beedie School of Business and used this knowledg to establish Ionomr as its first CEO in 2015 and raising an initial 1.7M seed round. With a seasoned CEO having joined Ionomor to scale the comoany, Ben now leads the product strategy and marketing ofIonomr products across a large variety of electrochemical and pressure-based systems.
