Entrepreneurship and Innovation Support for Student Clubs
Community is key to entrepreneurship, and clubs are the heart of student social life and one of the first stops for students seeking communities like-minded friends (and maybe future co-founders). At the Chang Institute, we aim to help entrepreneurial, innovative and changemaking clubs to build community, take on projects and achieve common goals however would be most helpful to them.
We can support clubs in many ways, such as providing industry professionals, business owners, and professors as event speakers, mentorship for student-led workshops (and in non-COVID times), room bookings, and physical space!
This year the Chang Institute, Coast Capital Savings Venture Connection, and our student-led Compass Program helped to support all different types of clubs across SFU .

SFU Surge
Providing support to their Annual Hackathon, the Chang Institute, and SFU Surge.
